Dr Bradford Volk

Dr Bradford Volk graduated from medical school in the United States in 2000 and has spent most of his career working in general practice and obstetrics. In 2022, he took a sabbatical year at Crawford, where he quickly fell in love with New Zealand’s people and culture. He returned permanently in 2025 to continue his medical career here.
Dr Volk has a special clinical interest in geriatric medicine, women’s health, and general practice procedures. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming and playing tennis with his family.

Dr Elyse Conijn

Dr Elyse Conijn is originally from the Netherlands and holds both a medical degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. Dr Elyse gained valuable experience working in emergency medicine and acute psychiatry and covers all areas of general practice, with a special interest in women’s health, Dr Elyse is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and looks forward to supporting your health journey.
Languages: Native speaker of both English and Dutch.
Dr Michael Chen

Dr Michael Chen has recently joined the team at Crawford Medical Centre. Michael is an Otago University Medical School graduate. He has been working in hospitals in Dunedin and Auckland DHBs prior to joining Crawford. Michael emigrated from China in 1995 and has spent considerable time in urban and rural New Zealand. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin. His main sporting interest is tennis.
Dr Li-Hsing Chou

Dr Li-Hsing Chou is a University of Auckland graduate. After gaining three years of experience in Auckland’s hospitals, he is now in his second year of a GP training programme. His practice emphasizes patient-centred and evidence-based care, with a focus on lifestyle and preventative medicine. Outside of work, Li-Hsing trains in the gym and also enjoys swimming and football.
He is fluent in both English and Mandarin
NP Robyn McCullough
Mstr Nur (Honours), PG Dip HSc
Robyn began her career as a registered nurse in Australia. On moving to NZ, she worked in aged residential care before moving to palliative care. She subsequently trained as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in palliative care and is now expanding her scope to include primary care. Robyn enjoys painting and drawing and being outdoors.
NP Pratik Parikh
Mstr NSc, PG DIP NSc
Pratik is a Nurse Practitioner with a scope across the life span. His experience includes primary and acute care in Wellington. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Punjabi, with conversational skills in Marathi and Kannada. Outside work, he cherishes family time, try to get fit while exploring his passion for food.
